The Society has an substantial resource available in the heart of Warsash. The Warsash Heritage Centre is located in Shore Road and is a permanent home for our archive and a research centre for its users.
Since formation the Society has built a comprehensive archive of photographs, maps, documents and artefacts. We hope that people will use this resource to support their research into the history of our village, and into topics of their own personal interest.
We are undertaking a major cataloguing programme, the results of which will be published on this site. For practical and copyright reasons all of archive resources will not be available directly through the web site. However we will post an up-to-date index of images, documents and other items.
Copies of many of the photographs in our collection are available for a small fee. Please contact us for more information.
If you are interested in seeing our collection then please feel free to come in for a chat or just to browse. All of our many photographs are available to view, and copies can be made for a small fee. The Centre also has small items of merchandise and local history booklets to sell.
When the Centre is closed you can take a look at our window display, which changes regularly and is much admired by passers by.
