Sources of Information

There are many public sources of historical information that can aid you in your own research. They can provide access to documents (for example Parish Registers, Wills, Cemetery Registers, newspapers and maps) and photographs. Some of the information available can date back over 600 years. The following list gives excellent starting point for locating local information.
